We’re Opening for Services!!

Welcome everyone. Due to restricted seating we are encouraging all people from other churches to attend their church and please leave room for our local church body. We will have a second service if there is over flow from the restricted attendance,  immediately following people leaving from the first. We are all excited to see you!!
Some Q & A if you are thinking about attending this Sunday:
1. Church or home? You decide which is safe for you.
2. Will there still be online services? Yes, they are at a new time –  11am!!
3. The church is using a plant based, chemical free disinfectant that is 99.9% effective.
4. No children’s church at this time.
5. No bulletins to keep the environment touch free.
6. Kitchen and fellowship halls are off limits for now. Sorry, no coffee 😢
7. Practice social distancing 3-6 feet. Be aware that not everyone may feel the same way as you do. Family’s will sit together leaving spaces between others. Please keep visiting time till when you leave the church and are outside.
8. Tithe boxes will be placed next to side door on worship platform and back of sanctuary for you to drop off tithes and offerings as you leave or when you arrive.
9. Exit suggestions! Use side doors by worship platform, and exits in the back. Please exit row by row and wait your turn. 😇
Thank you all for understanding and we can’t wait to see you!!!!

From the Heart of a Worship Leader 5/14/20

From our Worship Director Dianna Holden

Hello everyone,

God has been so good to me. I can’t look at the difficulties I have had and the difficulties I am going through and decide that God somehow doesn’t love me. I know that is not the case. His word says that He never leaves me nor forsakes me (Hebrews 13:5). By faith, I stand on that. “…I have never seen the righteous forsaken or his seed begging for bread.” (Psalm 37:25)

Here is my encouragement to you…God is not mad at you…God has not forgotten you…God cares intimately about all that you are going through. When you stand on those promises, worship becomes easier in both the good times and the bad times. Worship becomes more than just music. It becomes more than just words. It becomes relationship. When I realized that, I found joy in being a worshiper both in church and at home. It’s a life style.

Don’t believe the lie of the enemy that God doesn’t care. He does, and always will…
Have a blessed week…Dianna

THE TIMES ARE CHANGING! This Sunday 3/22- at  10AM. In the wake of the state of emergency that our state and our nation is in right now, we are having toget creative with getting together to worship in a safe environment.  So our first ever, online church meeting  on our Facebook Page! Invite your friends and family to “like” the church page and tune in about 5 minutes till. The best part is, you just come as you are. We won’t see you! lol But make sure you let us know that you are online and watching with us.

Sing along with Dianna and Monette as they open the gathering with a worship song. Followed up with some encouragement by our Pastor Larry.  The best part is you meet us as you are.  We miss you and look forward to this new way of life for believers that we hope won’t be permanent. See you Sunday!

Coronavirus / COVID Precautions The Next Couple Months

Message from the church: 2 Timothy 1:7 says, “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”

A way to help with keeping our minds free from worry is staying informed and just as diligent in prayer. As well as faith, we should use wisdom and take precautions to keep our families healthy. A few important ways that New Horizons Church will be taking some precautions during this time is:
**We will be suspending “hand-shake time” for a while: We do encourage you to greet each other with a friendly wave, and warm smile when you arrive. And if you feel the love, say the words! LOL
**We have always taken great pride in the cleanliness of our church but we are making sure to scrub and bleach all children’s toys and church door knobs extra times.
**We usually run about 100 people in a 200 seat church so there is plenty of breathing space. 😇 Share the love from afar and let’s worship!

Some simple things you can do to help:
👏Pray for our church and our whole community for peace, wisdom and protection.
😷If you are experiencing respiratory virus symptoms, are considered an “at risk” person or have a weak immune system, we encourage you to remain at home. Feel free to email or call the office to request prayer and to let us know how you are doing.

We look forward to getting through these difficult times and back to “normal life”. And as the body of Christ we can support each other in love, prayer and encouragement. God’s got this!
